Doobins’ First Bible
Kids definitely have a gift for pushing buttons.
The other day Garnet was telling Doobins that some bit of behavior was unacceptable when he picked up his “My First Bible,” took it into the kitchen and threw it into the trash can.
Luckily, no one had thrown away anything gloppy, and, when she fished it out, it was fine.
When she told me the story later, I was awed by his diabolical brilliance. Not that I would tell him that, of course.
